'branches' begin very early on, approximating close to the microbraids in front.
Royal Knots- the braid shoots out straight from the scalp, with an almost invisible knot.

Microbraids:

smooth, seamless braids- right from the root of the hair to the ends.
very fine baby hair is treated gently to prevent hair loss.

We used 18 inches wet and wavy human hair, however a much shorter look is available with at least 16 inch hair for ponytails, or 14 inch hair for no ponytails.
